DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE MOVIE STUDIOS

Morocco Mountain Treks organize guided trip to Sahara desert , everyday departure with professional drivers, local and experienced guides to explore Best of Morocco. Pick up at 8 am from your hotel , departure towards Ouarzazate and crossing the Atlas mountains in “Tizi n'Tichka pass. We will enjoy guided excursion and visit of the Kasbah in Ait Benhaddou. It is an amazing fortified city  and Unesco site, were many movies like Gladiator and others were shot We continue to Ouarzazate, where we visit the film studios and we will spend the night in local hotel with dinner.

DAY 2: OUARZAZATE - AGDEZ - DRAA VALLEY - TAZARINE - GORGES OF MHARECH

Today after breakfast we visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then we cross the Anti Atlas mountains through the port of “Tizi n Tinifift”. We enjoy view of “Draa Valley” passing few interesting Berber villages and kasbahs. We drive to N'kob, Tarazine and Alnif. We enjoy the road of former “Rally Dakar” We spend a night in Mharech in local hotel / riad with dinner.

DAY 3: MHARECH - OASIS RAMLIA - OUZINA - MERZOUGA-CAMEL TREK AND NIGH IN CAMP

Today you  enjoy oasis and the dunes of Ouzina desert. We explore and visit the Berber villages on the way towards Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in Morocco. We prepare for camel ride into the desert of Merzouga and once we reach the camp we enjoy Berber dinner and we stay overnight in desert tents in desert.

DAY 4: MERZOURGA - RISSANI - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

Today we head towards Rissani, origin of the Allawi dynasty. We explore local ancient souk, then we visit Erfoud, rich in marine fossils and black stones. We continue to Todgha gorges, and Dades Valley, where we stay for dinner and overnight at local riad.

DAY 5: DADES VALLEY - SKOURA - ATLAS MOUNTAINS MARRAKECH

Today we pass the amazing “Valley of Roses” to arrive to Skoura, where we will find the most famous kasbah in the whole area. Then we drive to Ouarzazate, we cross Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach Marrakech. We drop you off at your hotel. Thank you for travel with Morocco Mountain Treks - private day excursions in Morocco.
