DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – AIT BENHADDOU UNESCO VILLAGE – OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES:

Morocco Mountain Treks organize guided trip to Sahara desert , everyday departure with professional drivers, local and experienced guides to explore Best of Morocco. Professional and licensed driver will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech at 8 am and we departure towards village of Ait Benhaddou passing through “the Tizi n'Tichka pass” . We enjoy amazing views of valleys, Berber villages. You will have guided excursion of Kasbah in Ait Benhaddou. After that we visit Ouarzazate’s Atlas film studios ,then we take photos of amazing “kasbah of Taourirt”. We continue private tour from Marrakech to Skoura, Kalaa M’gouna and Boumalne du Dades. We spend a night in Dades Valley in traditional hotel with dinner.

DAY 2: DADES VALLEY - TINGHIR - TODGHA GORGES – – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE :

After breakfast we explore Dades Valley with amazing views. We continue towards Tineghir and Todgha gorges to enjoy its marvelous canyon, famous for rock climbers. Here we hike on foot with local guide. We drive to Tinejdad for lunch then we explore Erfoud - famous for local fossil workshops. We visit Rissani and we end up in Merzouga desert. Once we get ready for a camel trek which will take for 90 minutes,you enjoy the sunset over dunes. You will have dinner in Sahara camp of Merzouga and we stay overnight in traditional Merzouga tents of Erg Chebbi.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT– ERFOUD – MIDELT – AZROU – IFRANE – END OF TOUR IN FES:

After early wake up you will enjoy magic Sahara sunrise while sitting on the top of the dune. After breakfast we ride camels back to the hotel for shower and then we depart towards Errachidia passing Aoufous , amazing “valley of Ziz”. We visit city of Midelt famous for mineral products, then we cross the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and we visit the cedar forest of Azrou. You will enjoy beautiful views of Middle Atlas mountains near Ifrane often called as the Switzerland of Morocco. Arriving to Fes where we drop you off at your hotel.
